I started weaving as a form of art therapy — a way to get out of my head and into my body, to create beyond my usual medium of writing. I knew it would feel good to create with my hands again, but I had no idea how passionate I would become about fiber art!
When I ran out of space on my own walls to hang my art, I began creating custom works for my friends and selling them at the cost of materials. Word spread beyond my close circle, and my hobby quickly grew into a small business. Now, I create custom and ready-to-ship works of fiber art, and donate 10% of proceeds from each piece towards The Loveland Foundation, which funds therapy support for Black women and girls.
